This is a class designed for very young students that are interested in Karate but are not old enough to understand the training concepts. Many young children are not yet well coordinated and have a very short attention span. Kinder Karate provides exercises to help train and improve hand to eye coordination and fine motor skills. The class is taught by games and activities that keep the childfs attention while providing the learning skills necessary to improve the childfs well-being. There is also an element of discipline involved that has proven to be quite beneficial to parents with children that may be hard to handle. The improvement of skills will help any child when it comes to sports, playtime, and school activities. Throwing and catching a ball, kicking a ball, rolling on a mat (tumbling) and jumping rope are just a few of the activities taught. |
